PROGRESSIVE UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST SEEKS SUNDAY SCHOOL COORDINATOR
St. John United Church of Christ in Arlington Heights, IL is seeking a Part-Time Sunday School Coordinator.
Job Description
Work with church leadership to set goals, establish programs, and coordinate calendar. Attend regularly scheduled Christian Education Committee meetings. (Approx. 1/month.)
Choose appropriate Sunday School curriculum for children age 3-8th gr. in conjunction with the Christian Education Committee.
Plan weekly lessons and implement lessons along with at least one volunteer. Coordinate volunteer leadership for Sunday mornings.
Organize and coordinate a children’s Christmas program.
Organize and coordinate an end of the year celebration for children and families.

Hours and Compensation
September – May ( approximately 38 weeks)
20 – 25 hours per month (approx. 5 hours per week, including 2-3 hours each Sunday) Hourly rate, based on experience.
