Winter weather is officially here. Lent begins early this year…on February 14. What better way to warm your spirit, heart and hands than with a bowl of homemade soup??? St. John will celebrate Lent with Lenten Soup Sundays beginning February 18! Homemade soups and bread will be served by the four St. John committees and the Council on Sundays, February 18 through March 17 following worship. Pastor Judy will lead us in a brief reading/meditation each week. Come celebrate the season of Lent, get to know someone you do not yet know well over a steaming bowl of soup following worship, and celebrate the season of Lent with other St. John members and friends as we prepare our minds for Holy Week. A free-will offering will be collected.
